September Cards!

Well, this morning I got a little creative and made a couple of cards!

The first one is made from papers from Three Bugs in a Rug (Spring).  So cute!  The top paper is chalked in pink to stand out a little more.  I purposely left the sentiment off as this card can be use for many occasions and I'll add it when needed!
The next card is made using the Tea Bag Folding technique.  I wasn't looking to make a card from this technique but my sister was making one from a different fold and it was hilarious!  For those of you who know me, my sister and I connect through Skype as she is 3000 km away from me!  Anyway, it wasn't going so well for her so while she was taking a break I surfed the net and found an easier one to do!  Check it out here.

I love orange and blue together.  I also used Martha Stewart's lace punch on here as well.

Here is a side view of the tea bag fold so you can see how it's dimensional.  How cool is that!!!!

Hope you like them!!  oh, and only 89 days til Christmas.....fa la la la laaaaaaaa

My sister figured out the tea bag folding "medallion" and created this beautiful card for our brother's birthday!!  Way to go, sis.  It's awesome!

Here is the 2nd card my sister made using the technique I used further up the page.  Beautiful paper selection!  This could become a new fav technique of ours!!

111 Days til Christmas

Yes, I know most of you are probably still enjoying summer days and do not want to even think about Christmas yet!  Well, I LOVE Christmas!  I even bought my first Christmas present a couple days ago.

Guess I'll be starting on my Christmas cards soon too!

Before I sign off I thought I'd share a picture of two of my favorite kids!
