WHOOHOO!!! I finally got a new computer. My old laptop, bless its electronic heart, is about to byte (heehee) the dust!
My husband bought me a new Gateway laptop for Christmas but unfortunately, it ended up with loads of things wrong with it. We returned it and the replacement is working like a charm - so far. I have yet to get my Sure Cuts A Lot put on it. I use that program all the time so having it run on this computer will be the major test! I'll try to get that installed later on today or tomorrow.
Well, I must say, I'm so impressed with our wintery weather! The past couple of weeks we have been having wonderful warmer temps (-12 or so). Today however, as I type this, it's COLD! -21 but the windchill is making it feel like -32. yuck! Hmmm, I'm still impressed with the past couple of weeks though :-)
Guess I'm off to sit in front of the fireplace. Stay warm!

Boxing Day
Hard to believe Christmas Day has already been here. Where on earth is the time going?
Right now I'm totally enjoying sitting here in my pj's with a hot cup of tea and enjoying the QUIET! Everyone is still sleeping and there's just something about having a quiet house to myself - if only for another hour or so!
What a wonderful way to start the day!
Haven't decided about heading to the mall for Boxing Day sales. I don't need anything and I'm definitely not one for fighting my way through crowds! Will have to see what the rest of the clan wants to do today. Because it's Sunday, our stores won't open until noon. Lots of time to still lounge in my pj's.
My 16 year old daughter (yay, Sweet Sixteen five days ago) wants a family shoot out in the snow! My son takes wonderful pics and she's anxious to get some 'quirky' shots (for her Facebook I'm sure). If that does happen, I'll post a shot or two!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day! I sure did.

September Cards!
Well, this morning I got a little creative and made a couple of cards!
The first one is made from papers from Three Bugs in a Rug (Spring). So cute! The top paper is chalked in pink to stand out a little more. I purposely left the sentiment off as this card can be use for many occasions and I'll add it when needed!
The next card is made using the Tea Bag Folding technique. I wasn't looking to make a card from this technique but my sister was making one from a different fold and it was hilarious! For those of you who know me, my sister and I connect through Skype as she is 3000 km away from me! Anyway, it wasn't going so well for her so while she was taking a break I surfed the net and found an easier one to do! Check it out here.
I love orange and blue together. I also used Martha Stewart's lace punch on here as well.
Here is a side view of the tea bag fold so you can see how it's dimensional. How cool is that!!!!
Hope you like them!! oh, and only 89 days til Christmas.....fa la la la laaaaaaaa
UPDATE:
My sister figured out the tea bag folding "medallion" and created this beautiful card for our brother's birthday!! Way to go, sis. It's awesome!
